A Wasted Life

Wasted life,
A waste of a life
In a future with no wife
A wasteful waste of a life.

Never thought it’ll end up like this
Ever imagined?
Maybe I did.
A road of hopelessness.

Nicotine in my system,
Alcohol in my blood,
Smell of weed on me,
Hopelessness surrounds me.

Like a river surrounding
A boat.
I’m a fading star
No one or nothing can catch me now.

Like a rose that blooms
And quick fades before tomorrow comes,
The decision I’v made
Can never be taken back.

Tried picking up the broken pieces.
But the more I try,
These pieces turn into dust which not even my creator can put back together.
I’m just hopelessness. A dying star.
